If all goes well, the two may meet at the end of this week. According to the New York Times report, a White House official said, the timing and issues of this meeting have not yet been decided. At the same time, another officer completely ruled out such a possibility.

The American Embassy in Russia has issued a warning of an attack on many cities including Moscow, St Petersburg. According to media reports, shopping centers, railway and metro stations, and public places may be attacked in many cities of Russia amid the ongoing tension with Ukraine. "Important security alert from US mission to Russia," US Embassy spokesman Jason Rebholz wrote in a press release on social media.

 

Have a plan to exit Russia

The American Embassy said in the alert – Avoid going to crowded places, share information about your security with friends and family. Be cautious about tourist places and have a plan to exit Russia. Along with this, the embassy has appealed to US citizens to carry original identity cards, which include a Russian visa and American passport.

 

Biden and Macron spoke on the phone
