Five big things related to Nitish Sarkar's decree
A notification has been issued from the office of Bihar DGP SK Singhal. In a letter issued by the DGP of Bihar, it has been clarified that if a person is found indulging in criminal work by engaging in law and order situation, anti-protest, and road jams, and his name appears in the police charge sheet. One has to be prepared to face serious consequences.
According to the order, in Bihar, it is mandatory to get police verification for government contracts, government jobs, arms license, and passport. It will be the responsibility of the police station to comply with the order issued on the character certificate. Under no circumstances should there be a lapse. Bihar Police issued this order on 1 January 2021.
Nitish government had issued an order on 25 January last. In the letter issued by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department, Aamir Dahtani, it was said that government contracts in Bihar should be given to those people whose character is clean. Police will issue a certificate to clean the character of the contractor and his employees.
After this order of Bihar Police, the opposition directly targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. RJD president Tejashwi Yadav said that how scared are the Chief Ministers of 40 poor seats?
