UP Weather Update: Monsoon rains are likely to intensify from today in many states including Delhi, UP, and Haryana. Due to this a big drop in temperature will also be seen. The Meteorological Department has forecast that Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh will receive heavy rains today and tomorrow. The Meteorological Department says that Monsoon is likely to remain in North India for the next two to three days. It has been raining heavily in Jammu and Kashmir since this morning and due to this, once again the Amarnath Yatra has been stopped till further notice.

 

The Meteorological Department has forecast that there will be a lot of rain in Jammu and Kashmir today and tomorrow. Apart from this, heavy rains may occur over Himachal Pradesh, North Punjab, North Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Uttar Pradesh till July 31. Apart from this, the rain will continue in Uttarakhand and East Uttar Pradesh till August 1. Heavy rain will occur in Himachal Pradesh and Haryana today and tomorrow. Apart from this, heavy rain has been predicted in Uttarakhand and East UP on July 30. Heavy rain is also likely in Jharkhand, Bihar, and Telangana today.

Delhi NCR will also get relief from rain

 

Meanwhile, the people of Delhi and NCR can get a big relief from the rains. Today once again the rainy season can start in Delhi. Rain may continue in Delhi on Friday as well. Meteorological Department scientist RK Jenamani said, “The rain had reduced in the last few days, but from Thursday, the rain may return once again. Delhi and its adjoining areas may receive heavy rainfall in two phases.

 

Amarnath Yatra was also stopped due to rain

 

The effect of rain has also been seen on Amarnath Yatra. Amarnath Yatra was stopped at Chanderkot in the Ramban district on Thursday morning itself. The first batch of 1,597 passengers had left at 4 am today, which was stopped. People have also been advised by the administration not to travel on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
