Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who was on a two-day visit to India to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Conference (SCO), returned to Pakistan as soon as the summit was over. It is noteworthy that S. Jaishankar had said in front of Bilawal that he has come to SCO as a spokesperson for the terror industry. Regarding this, the Pakistani Foreign Minister said in a conversation with the media, "The victims of terrorism and those who spread it can never sit together and discuss terror. What they said is their wish. I gave my statement there and also talked to the press. Everything is on record. There is a sense of insecurity there because of false propaganda. This propaganda ends when I go there and speak. It is not only on the issue of India but for all those who are in the name of Pakistan. linked to terrorism.

 

He then asked the question, "Terror victims and perpetrators should never sit together. This is hatred. Have I ever been seen sitting with a terrorist even by mistake in my political history?"

 

What did Bilawal say at the SCO summit?

Speaking on the issue of terrorism, Bilawal said that the collective security of the people is our joint responsibility. Terrorism remains a threat to global security. We should refrain from goading each other diplomatically by making terrorism a diplomatic weapon. He said that I am not speaking only as the Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Our people took the maximum casualties in the attacks. I am also speaking as a son whose mother was killed by terrorists.

 

What did Jaishankar answer on this

In response to this, Jaishankar said that Bilawal's statement is very interesting because by this he has accidentally revealed his mindset. When and how can something be made a weapon? Only when someone is doing this work considering it legitimate. Today someone is saying that you are weaponizing terrorism, so it is clear that they think that terrorism is legitimate and should not be weaponized.

 

Jaishankar did not stop there. Questioning Bilawal's statement, he said, "What do you mean by not weaponizing the issue of terrorism? It means if I am a victim, I should accept terrorism.
