After the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, many types of claims are being made on social media. One of these claims is that an Indian pilot is in the custody of Pakistan. However, now the Pak Army has denied this. They say that Pakistan does not have any pilots from India. All this is just social media propaganda.
After the ceasefire, the Pakistan Army held a press conference last night. During this, Director General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary of ISPR, the media wing of the Pak Army, broke his silence on this question.
General Chaudhary's statement
During the press conference, when General Chaudhary was asked whether Pakistan has any Indian pilot and if yes, will we return him to India? In response to this, General Chaudhary said that we do not have any of their pilots.
According to General Chaudhary,
I want to make it clear to all of you that no pilot is in our custody. All this is just a rumor on social media. All this is part of fake news and false propaganda, which has been spread by different people for the last several days.
The Indian Army had also clarified.
Let us tell you that last evening, the Indian Army had also clarified during the press briefing that all the pilots of India are safe. While talking to the media, Air Marshal AK Bharti had said, "We have achieved whatever target we had set and all our pilots have returned home safely."
