The continuous rain in the monsoon has broken the record of the last five years. After the year 2020, the entire month of July and August was drenched in rain showers. September has started, and the rain has not stopped yet.

 

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain this month as well. 251 mm of rain has occurred in July and 247.5 mm in August. Earlier, heavy rainfall occurred in the year 2020. Then there was 150 mm of rainfall in July and 292.3 mm in August.

After the monsoon becomes active, the maximum rainfall occurs in June and July. If we talk about previous years, Gurugram has received more rainfall in the month of August. This time, rainfall was also recorded for more days in August.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, it is expected to rain again in the area on September 3 and 4. There is a possibility of drizzle or light rain intermittently till September 7. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon remains active in the entire state, including NCR till September 15. Many times, the returning monsoon also brings good rainfall.

 

There was heavy rainfall in 2010 as well

 

According to the data of the Meteorological Department, there was 330.8 mm of rainfall in July 2010 and 380.5 mm of rainfall in August. Earlier in the year 2000, there were 223.7 mm and 142.0 mm of rainfall in July.

 

In the year 2003, 312 mm of rainfall was recorded in July and 304.5 mm in August. According to the Meteorological Department, there was heavy rainfall in September and October in the year 2021. This year, 228 mm of rainfall was recorded in September and 225 mm in October.
