BJP 24-25, rebels 15, independents also 'revdi'; Shinde cabinet may be like this

Eknath Shinde Cabinet: After a long wait of almost a month, an agreement has been reached on the new cabinet of the Eknath Shinde government. It has been learned from sources that in this new cabinet, the formula of 65-35 percent has been decided between BJP and Shinde faction. Independents can also be included in the Council of Ministers. In the new cabinet, 24 to 25 BJP MLAs, and 15 MLAs from the Shinde faction can be made ministers. It is believed that soon the government of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis can announce the cabinet.

 

Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra on July 1, making a big change in the politics of Maharashtra. Dramatically, BJP leader and former CM Devendra Fadnavis took over as the Deputy CM of Maharashtra. Since then there were speculations that Shinde would soon announce his cabinet expansion. After 29 days of hard work and meeting the BJP high command to finally form the government, such news has come to the fore on Friday that Eknath Shinde will announce his cabinet expansion soon. It has been learned from sources that an agreement has been reached between Shinde and BJP on cabinet expansion.

 

 65-35 Formula

 

It has been learned from sources that a 65-35 formula has been made between Eknath Shinde and BJP. It is believed that in the new cabinet, 24 to 25 BJP MLAs, and 14 to 15 MLAs from the Shinde faction can be given ministerial posts. Apart from this, to pacify the independents also, Jagad can be given to the Council of Ministers.

 

9 ministers who came with Shinde

 

Let us inform you that when Eknath Shinde revolted against the Uddhav Thackeray government, 9 ministers of the Thackeray government also rebelled against him. Along with Shinde, there are nine of the 40 Shiv Sena MLAs who were ministers in the Uddhav government. It is believed that these MLAs can be given ministerial posts in Shinde's government.

 

According to the Indian Express report, there is an atmosphere of unrest in many departments of Maharashtra due to the vacancy of ministerial posts. In such a situation, there is also pressure on Shinde to expand the cabinet soon. CM Eknath Shinde has said that the cabinet will be expanded in a few days. While Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has remained silent on the dates of cabinet expansion. However, he said that the decision on cabinet expansion will come soon.
