Some people participating in the Dussehra rally in the Bidar district of Karnataka barged into an old madrasa. Here these people raised slogans and also worshiped in a corner of the madrasa. In this case, the police have registered a case against 9 people. According to the police, 4 accused have been caught so far, while 5 accused are still absconding. At the same time, the Home Minister of the state has said that this happened due to a misunderstanding. The police team is working to take action against the culprits.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has accused the BJP government of the state of trying to humiliate Muslims by promoting such incidents. This madrasa named Mahmud Gawan was built in 1460. This madrasa comes under the Archaeological Survey of India. This building is also included in the list of important monuments of the country.

People entered the madrasa by breaking the lock, deploying of police force

Police said that this mob broke the lock of the madrasa on Wednesday evening. After this, standing on the steps of the madrasa, he raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Hindu Dharma Jai, then stood in a corner of the madrasa and also worshiped. A video related to this matter is doing the rounds on social media, in which the mob is seen trying to enter the madrasa by standing on the stairs.

Several Muslim organizations in Bidar held protests condemning the incident. The organizations demand that the accused be arrested. Failure to do so will result in large-scale demonstrations on Friday after Namaz. Because of the possibility of demonstration, the administration has deployed a heavy police force.

Now know about this madrasa...

Built-in 1460 AD, this madrasa is a heritage building and is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. Earlier there used to be an old Lakshmi temple inside the madrasa. In that temple 4-5 people used to go for worship during Navratri. Later that temple was demolished. After this, four to five people belonging to the Hindu community started worshiping the tree present there.
