The exit polls for Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 have shown a tough fight between the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the Mahayuti. Reactions of the leaders have also come to the fore on this. Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said, "People in Maharashtra are angry with the BJP and its alliance. This time's voting percentage has made it clear. The kind of allegations made by the BJP were an attempt to mislead the public. People sympathize with us."
He further said, "The audio released by the BJP last night shows their fear of defeat. We have lodged an FIR on this."
Claim of victory of Mahayuti
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, while reacting to the exit polls, said, "Maharashtra has benefited from the development that took place in the last ten years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. The state got schemes worth Rs 10 lakh crore from the Center. The decisions of the Shinde-Fadnavis-Ajit Pawar government in the last two and a half years will also benefit the Mahayuti." At the same time, Maharashtra government minister and NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal said, "The Mahayuti government has implemented many schemes in the last six months. The false narrative that was being spread has been rejected by the public. 100% Mahayuti government will be formed."

BJP candidate and former Chief Minister Champai Soren said about the exit poll estimates in Jharkhand, "We have worked in every assembly constituency. Corruption is at its peak, youth and students are disappointed, so change is certain."
Meanwhile, Congress leader Pranav Jha said, "This is a clear mandate in favor of the grand alliance. We will perform better than last time. The enthusiasm of the public and the wave against the BJP has made it clear that the contest is only in favor of the grand alliance."
NCP-SCP leader Clyde Crasto rejected the exit polls and said, "We saw in Haryana that exit polls show something else and the results are something else. The situation on the ground is different. The contest is equal, but we have an edge. We should wait till November 23." Exit polls in Maharashtra and Jharkhand have raised the political temperature. The statements of the leaders of both the states make it clear that the suspense will remain till the results are out.
