SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said that Sahil and Muskan had known each other since childhood. Both studied together till eighth class in Vivekanand School located in Brahmapuri area. After eighth, both went to study in different schools. After this, they did not meet. On the other hand, Saurabh, a resident of Indiranagar in Brahmapuri, used to work in the Merchant Navy. Muskan's maternal grandfather Anil Rastogi, who was an astrologer, lived near his house. Muskan often used to come to her maternal grandfather's house from the Gauripura locality of Brahmapuri. Saurabh also used to visit Anil Rastogi's house. Both met in 2016 and fell in love.
Saurabh and Muskan wanted to get married, but the family members of both were not ready for marriage. However, later the families of both agreed. They got married in 2016. After marriage, Saurabh left his job and started working in a plywood factory in Partapur. Daughter Pihu was born in 2019. A few days after this, Saurabh went to London and started working in a bakery with a friend there. Muskan used to talk to Saurabh on the phone. She used to make her daughter talk on video calls. After this, Sahil entered Muskan's life again. Classmates had created a WhatsApp group. Muskan talked to Sahil through this.

SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said that several days before the incident, Muskaan had also mixed sleeping pills in Saurabh's liquor bottle, so that he could be killed when he was drunk, but Saurabh did not drink alcohol during this time. After this, sleeping pills were mixed in the koftas.
Father demanded the death penalty.
Muskan's father said that he should be hanged. Muskan has lost the right to live. Such a person does not have the right to live. Saurabh always supported Muskan. Mother said that when Saurabh was going to London, we told him to leave Muskan with us, but Muskan did not want to stay here. Because Muskan knew that her parents would stop her for some or the other thing.

According to the police, Muskan and Sahil stabbed Saurabh in the chest and then took the body to the bathroom and cut it into 15 pieces with a knife.
