New Delhi, Jan 19 (IANS) The BJP parliamentary board meeting, which will take place Monday evening here, will decide on the 70 candidates for the Feb 7 assembly polls.
Former Indian Police Service officer Kiran Bedi, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jan 16, is likely to head the party's campaign in the national capital.
However, no decision, is likely to be taken on the party's chief ministerial candidate, according to sources.
Sources said that the names of the candidates will either be announced after the meeting Monday or Tuesday morning.
Sources said that Bedi's induction into the party has left many senior leaders and MPs uncomfortable, as she has started portraying herself as the party's yet to be announced chief ministerial candidate.
