The Serum Institute of India in Pune has halted the trial of the Corona vaccine of Oxford and AstraZeneca. After stopping the trial in the UK, the Drug Controller General of India on Wednesday asked the Serum Institute in Pune to stop the trial and issued a show-cause notice.
Oxford University and London-based pharma company AstraZeneca are making the Corona vaccine. Its trial is going on in many countries including India. Two days ago, he stopped his trial in Britain due to a person being ill. This person was involved in this trial.
The Serum Institute said, "We are reviewing the situation and stopping the trial in India till the commencement of the AstraZeneca trial. We are following the instructions of the Drug Controller General of India.
Death rate increased in six states: 3% highest in Punjab
The death rate is decreasing in the country. It has come down from 1.70% to 1.67% in the last eight days. But the rising death rates of Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Kerala, and Assam have raised concerns. On the other hand, this rate is declining rapidly in states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, which are in poor condition.

1. Madhya Pradesh
There is a shortage of oxygen in the hospitals of the state. Several districts including Dewas, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Shivpuri have had this problem on Tuesday-Wednesday. The corona patients at Amaltas Hospital in Dewas were troubled for oxygen for 7 hours. This problem came because Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra stopped supply.
There are currently 18 thousand 433 active cases of Covid in the state. 20% of these patients need oxygen. The shortage suddenly increased after supplies were stopped from Maharashtra. Hospitals received 40 tonnes of oxygen every day in July and 90 tonnes in August. On the other hand, after the increasing number of cases in Indore, the traders have decided to close shops on weekends i.e. 5 on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday.
2. Rajasthan
A record of 1640 patients were found in the state on Thursday. This is the first time that more than 1600 infected were found in Rajasthan for the second consecutive day. Meanwhile, 320 patients have been found in Jodhpur district. 2 died in 24 hours. So far, 14 thousand 249 cases have been reported in the district, while 12 thousand 327 have become healthy. 116 people have died of this disease.
3. Bihar
On Thursday, 206 patients were found in Patna district. The number of infected in the district has increased to 23 thousand 395. Of these, 21 thousand 154 have been cured. Currently, there are 2057 active cases. The rate of cured patients is 90%. A sample of 1.2 lakh people was then examined in the state. With this, 44.5 lakh corona tests have been tested so far. The positivity rate has also reached 3.4%.
Due to the deteriorating health of senior RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, he has been shifted to ICU by Delhi AIIMS administration. He has been admitted to AIIMS for 10 days. 4. Maharashtra

5. Uttar Pradesh

Of these, 2 lakh 21 thousand 506 people have been cured, while 66 thousand 317 patients are still being treated. So far, 70.67 lakh corona tests have been done in the state.
