Board Exams: Supreme Court will hear on the petition to cancel the offline examinations of class 10th and 12th board

The Supreme Court has approved the hearing on the petition to cancel the offline examinations of all boards including CBSE, ICSE. Chief Justice NV Ramana allowed the petition and told that the matter will be heard by a bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar. The court will hear the matter on Monday itself.

 

Students seeking alternative assessment method

 

Petition for cancellation of offline examination has been filed by more than 15 states. Students are demanding alternative assessment methods in board exams. Behind this, he has cited the outbreak of the Corona epidemic. Last year, because of the pandemic, various boards had postponed the examinations. The marks were awarded to the students as per the internal examination and the standard prepared by the board.

 

Exam dates coming out

 

Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official notice saying that the term-2 board examinations of classes X and XII will be started from April 26. Apart from this, CISCE is also likely to start conducting ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII examinations by the end of April. As soon as the outbreak of Corona subsided, various states have opened their schools and started preparing for the examinations.
