China's Long March 5B rocket hits Earth. The rocket burned up as soon as it entered the Earth's atmosphere. But on the intervening night of July 30-31, some fragments of the rocket fell on the earth. This 25-ton rocket took off on July 24 with a module to complete China's unfinished Tiangong space station. Since its launch, scientists were worried that this rocket might fall to Earth from space.

According to The Aerospace Corporation, debris that does not burn in the Earth's atmosphere can fall into populated areas. But, the chances of harming anyone with this debris are very less.
