In a college in Mangaluru's Vamanjoor, some boys danced wearing burqas. After the video went viral on social media, St. Joseph's Engineering College has taken action and suspended the four students. The college management is also conducting an inquiry as to why this incident took place.
However, the college claims that the students dancing on the stage belong to the Muslim community. The college has also issued a press release regarding this.

An event of the Student Association was going on at St. Joseph's Engineering College, Mangaluru. Meanwhile, dance performances of Bollywood songs were going on. Suddenly a group of 4 boys comes on stage wearing burqas. They start dancing to Dabangg 2's Fevicol song. The clip of this dance has gone viral on social media.

A release issued by St.Joseph's Engineering College said- The clip of the dance performed during the informal event of the Student Association is going viral on social media. This dance was performed by the boys of the Muslim community only. It was not part of the scheduled program. That's why the dance students have been suspended. The college does not support any act that harms the harmony between communities. And everyone on the campus knows this very well.
