However, the college claims that the students dancing on the stage belong to the Muslim community. The college has also issued a press release regarding this.

Suddenly a group of 4 boys comes on stage wearing burqas. They start dancing to Dabangg 2's Fevicol song. The clip of this dance has gone viral on social media.

A release issued by St.Joseph's Engineering College said- The clip of the dance performed during the informal event of the Student Association is going viral on social media. This dance was performed by the boys of the Muslim community only. It was not part of the scheduled program. That's why the dance students have been suspended. The college does not support any act that harms the harmony between communities. And everyone on the campus knows this very well.
