UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has revealed that he faced racism but now the country has made remarkable progress in tackling the situation. The British leader of Indian origin made this disclosure during a conversation with reporters on Thursday night, which he did in the backdrop of the issue of racism in Buckingham Palace (the official residence of the British royal family).

When PM Sunak was asked how he felt about the incident involving Ngozi Fulani, founder of the London-based charity Sistah Space, and Lady Suzanne Hase, a close aide of the late Queen Elizabeth II, he said, I have talked before also, I have experienced racism in my life, but I am happy to say that what I experienced in childhood and youth, I believe that now people do not experience because our country has abolished racism. Remarkable progress has been made to deal with it.
