BR Ambedkar 67th Death Anniversary: PM Modi and other dignitaries paid tribute

Today is the 67th death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the country's constitution. Babasaheb is considered to be the pillar of the Indian Constitution. Born on 14 April 1891, Ambedkar struggled and fought for the upliftment of Dalits throughout his life.

 

Today President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other ministers and dignitaries paid tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar in Parliament on his death anniversary.

 

At the same time, on the death anniversary of Ambedkar, Congress MPs including UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge paid tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar in Parliament today on his death anniversary.

 

Former Chief Minister and BSP chief Mayawati paid floral tributes to BR Ambedkar on his death anniversary in Lucknow today.
