Japan: 16 times more deaths in 2022 than in 2021

 

The situation is worsening in Japan due to Corona. A report says that in the last three months, the number of people who died of Covid in Japan is 16 times more than last year. According to a report published by Japanese media Mainichi Daily on December 30, there were 11,835 deaths from Corona from October 1 to December 29, compared to 744 deaths in the same period last year.

 

The report pointed out that 40.8% of the deaths recorded from August 31 to December 27 this year were of 80-year-olds. 34.7% of people above 90 years of age died. 17% were people whose age was 70-79 years.

 

America: XBB.1.5 variant poses threat in the country

 

Omicron's sub-variant XBB.1.5 is spreading rapidly in the US. Before that, the cases of XBB.1.5 in the US were 11%.
