PM Modi participates in the 'Veer Bal Diwas' program, organized at Major Dhyanchand Stadium in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday participated in a program in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh Ji on the occasion of 'Veer Bal Diwas' in the national capital. PM Modi participated in the program of 'Veer Bal Diwas' at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium.

 

PM Modi said on Twitter, 'On Veer Bal Diwas, we remember the courage of Sahibzads and Mata Gujri ji. We also remember the courage of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Will attend a program today at 12:30 pm. Mark this inspiring day.

 

On January 9 this year, the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, Prime Minister Modi announced that the martyrdom of Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh, sons of the Sikh Guru, would be celebrated as 'Veer Bal Diwas' on December 26.

 

Later, PM Modi will flag off a march-past by around three thousand children in Delhi. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) gave this information.

 

The PMO statement said the government is organizing interactive and participatory programs across the country to tell citizens, especially young children, about the story of the exemplary courage of the sons of Gobind Singh, the last Guru of the Sikhs, who laid down their faith. He had sacrificed his life to protect.

 

Essay writing, quiz competitions, and other activities will be organized in schools and colleges across the country. Digital exhibitions will be put up at public places like railway stations, petrol pumps, and airports, the statement said.
