A blueprint has been prepared to make the Border Security Force (BSF) jurisdiction within 50 km of the country's borders. It also mentions the facilities required by the BSF for military operations in the states along the international border. According to sources, it will be sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs, where necessary constructions and changes will be implemented after getting consent.

To build this, the BSF along with several other agencies identified areas within 50 km of the border. Made an account of its geographical conditions, existing structures, etc. Locations of soldiers, making posts, necessary facilities, and requirements for soldiers and military machinery were identified.

It is noteworthy that after the arrival of the new notification, necessary changes are being made by informing the state police about every step over the last few months.
