President Joe Biden's nominee for US ambassador to China, Nicole Burns, has said that if India and the US come together on their interests in the Indo-Pacific, it will "make a big difference" to Chinese challenges.
He said these things when he was asked a question about the opportunities and challenges associated with coming together with countries trying to face China.
According to the report of the English newspaper The Hindu, Nicholas repeated Biden's talk with Burns, in which he had emphasized a partnership based on an agreement between countries like Japan, Australia, South Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia in the Indo-Pacific region.
Burns said, "What makes us stronger than China is that we have allies. We have allies that have full confidence in us, while China does not have such allies."
Nicholas Burns also said that India is not only an ally of America but also a 'major defense partner'.
He said that India is a country that regularly conducts bilateral and multilateral security exercises with the US.

Nicholas Burns said, "As you know and I believe—every American administration has been working on this since the time of former President Bill Clinton—we've got a new defense ally in India. The Indo-Pacific region The interests of India and America are intertwined in me and that makes a huge difference."
