These people are hoping that when they get a chance and when they play the game of unrest, but the people of Manipur have recognize them. Modi also said that earlier people wanted to come to the Northeast, but they used to stop thinking about how they would reach here. This used to cause a lot of damage to the tourism sector here, but now it is becoming easier to reach not only the cities of the Northeast but also the villages.

All this is the power of your one vote, due to which 6 lakh families of Manipur are getting the benefit of free ration under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana. Modi said that even before I did not become the Prime Minister, I had come to Manipur many times. I knew the pain in your heart. That's why after 2014, I have brought Delhi, the Government of India to your doorstep. Earlier on reaching Imphal, Chief Minister N Biren Singh welcomed PM Modi. Modi will also inaugurate the new Integrated Terminal Building at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala.
