PM Visits Manipur: Modi's big attack, said - some people want to destabilize Manipur for power

PM Narendra Modi is on a visit to Manipur and Tripura today. Modi reached Imphal, the capital of Manipur, and presented many projects. Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 22 development projects worth over Rs 4,800 crore. After this program, Modi also addressed a public meeting. During this, Modi said that a few days from now, on January 21, Manipur will complete 50 years of getting statehood. At present, the country is also celebrating Amrit Mahotsav on 75 years of its independence. This time in itself is a great inspiration.

 

Modi said, 'I have said earlier also that the eastern part of the country will become a major source of development for India. Today we are seeing how Manipur and North East are filling new colors in the future of India. Along with the schemes for which the foundation stone has been laid and inaugurated today, I will also thank the people of Manipur again today.

Some people want to destabilize Manipur for power

 

During this, PM Modi also took a dig at the opposition parties. Modi said that some people want to destabilize Manipur again to get power. These people are hoping that when they get a chance and when they play the game of unrest, but the people of Manipur have recognize them. Modi also said that earlier people wanted to come to the Northeast, but they used to stop thinking about how they would reach here. This used to cause a lot of damage to the tourism sector here, but now it is becoming easier to reach not only the cities of the Northeast but also the villages.

Modi further said that you formed such a stable government in Manipur which is running with full majority, with full strength. This happened because of your one vote. All this is the power of your one vote, due to which 6 lakh families of Manipur are getting the benefit of free ration under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana. About 80 thousand houses have been approved under PM Awas Yojana.

 

Modi said that even before I did not become the Prime Minister, I had come to Manipur many times. I knew the pain in your heart. That's why after 2014, I have brought Delhi, the Government of India to your doorstep. Earlier on reaching Imphal, Chief Minister N Biren Singh welcomed PM Modi. Modi will also inaugurate the new Integrated Terminal Building at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala.

 

Assembly elections to be held in Manipur

 

Significantly, after a few months, the assembly elections are due in Manipur. BJP leaders are constantly touring the state for the elections. Recently BJP President JP Nadda also held a public meeting here. During the public meeting, Nadda had fiercely attacked the opposition parties.
