Shah answered the questions raised on the timing of the law
The central government has issued the notification of CAA law this week itself. This law was passed by the Parliament in December 2019. During that time, there was a lot of uproar regarding the CAA law and there was even a riot in the country's capital Delhi regarding it. However, the government had refused to withdraw the law despite strong opposition and it has now been implemented.
