The special session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly began on Friday. CM Arvind Kejriwal also addressed this special session. During the session, he spoke on the farmers' movement, as well as shared some special information. He told that when the farmers were coming towards Delhi, the Central Government had sent a letter to the Delhi Government asking them to convert the stadium into jails but they refused to do so.

He said that the farmers' movement started a whole year ago from today. The Center had passed all the three agricultural laws in its arrogance. I am unnecessarily taking congratulations from the farmers. Everyone joined this movement. Told that the people of Punjab have led the movement. Farmers were sitting on the borders of Delhi in cold and rain. This was the biggest movement in the history of the world, now the farmers have won. The ruling party left no stone unturned to instigate the farmers. 700 farmers have been martyred.

He told that a lot has been told to the farmers during the agitation, no stone was left unturned to harass them. The car went up to the nails on the road. The farmers have endured everything. He told that a file came to me that farmers are coming, stadiums have to be made jails. But I refused. This made the central government very angry with us. He said that the demands of the farmers which are left should be accepted by the Center. The minimum price for farmers' crops should be fixed. As long as the farmers are sitting on the borders of Delhi, we are with them.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia congratulated the farmer power of the country through the house. He said that for the first time after Gandhiji such a movement took place, which forced the arrogant government to bow down. The movement went on with great patience. An example for the new generation. The Prime Minister ignored the farmers for a year. Farmers were taken very lightly. Thought that if farmers come to Delhi, they will imprison them in stadiums. But Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not allow the plans of the Center to succeed. The BJP has always criticized this movement. Time and again the Agriculture Minister and the Prime Minister kept speaking against this movement. Still, the farmers persevered. They deserve congratulations.
