China has got a tremendous chill due to the country's Vice President Venkaiah Naidu's visit to Arunachal Pradesh. China has expressed its objection to this visit of the Vice President. On Wednesday, India has also given a befitting reply to this objection of China. The Indian Foreign Ministry said that 'we reject such comments. Arunachal Pradesh is an integral and inseparable part of India. Indian leaders visit the state regularly, as they do in any other state in India.

Addressing the special session, the Vice President had elaborated on the heritage of Arunachal Pradesh and said that it is now witnessing a new change in the direction of change and accelerating pace of development in recent years.

China is deeply disturbed by the visit of the Vice President. Beijing on Wednesday said it has not recognized Arunachal Pradesh as a state. Expressing its objection to the visit of the Vice President, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said, "China's position on the border issue is consistent and clear...The Chinese government has never recognized the so-called Arunachal Pradesh established by the Indian side unilaterally and illegally." and strongly opposes the visits of Indian leaders to the respective region.
We urge the Indian side to sincerely respect China's core concerns, to cease any action that complicates and expands the border issue, and to refrain from undermining mutual trust and bilateral relations. Instead, it should take genuine concrete action to maintain peace and stability in the China-India border areas and help the bilateral relations to get on the track of strong and stable development.
India gave a befitting reply to Dragon
On the statement of the Chinese spokesperson, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, 'China's objection to the departure of a leader of the country in a state of India is unnecessary and beyond the understanding of Indian citizens. We have seen the statement from the official spokesperson of China. We reject such things. Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.
Know what is the controversy
Let us tell you that India's dispute with China over Arunachal Pradesh is very old. The dragon considers Arunachal Pradesh as part of South Tibet. There is a 3,500 km (2,174 mi) long border between the two countries. Due to the border dispute, both the countries have also stood face to face on the battlefield in 1962, but there is still a dispute over some areas on the border which sometimes becomes a reason for tension.
The McMahon Line exists between China and India. This is officially considered the International Line. But, China has been refusing to accept it. China says Arunachal Pradesh is part of southern Tibet. After China forcibly occupied Tibet in the 1950s, it has occupied hundreds of kilometers of India's land even in the 1962 war. However, Arunachal is considered as part of India in international maps.
