UAE Minister Praises Jaishankar: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Artificial Intelligence Omar Sultan Al Olama has called on Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has been praised a lot. He told that he is deeply impressed by how Jaishankar keeps India's foreign policy on the world stage amid geopolitical tug-of-war. Omar Sultan Al Olama praised Jaishankar during a conference at a think tank in Delhi. He had effectively participated in this program.

Omar Sultan Al Olama said in response to a question, "Historically, the world was unipolar, bipolar, or tripolar, where you had to select a side. I am very impressed with your Minister of Foreign Affairs. I watch some of his speeches. One thing is very clear for both the UAE and India. It's that we don't need to select sides."

"In the end, geopolitics is determined by the best interests of certain parties. Today the country needs to think about its best interests," he said. He said that if the UAE works with India, it does not mean that it cannot work with the US. All three of us can work together. The I2U2 (India-Israel-UAE-US) group is an example.

'Time to dominate the world

Emphasizing the importance of trade and investment, he said that now is the time to dominate the world through commerce, and countries like India and UAE can work together to increase their footprint across the globe. "The way to dominate the world today is through commerce. If countries like India and UAE can work together, we can significantly increase our footprint in the world," Olama said in his video interaction.

Olama said that India and UAE have deep roots and there are many potential areas for cooperation, especially in collaboration between startups in both countries. The UAE minister made the remarks while speaking virtually at an event called CyFY2022. A three-day conference to discuss technology, security, and society, organized by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) here in the national capital New Delhi, began on Wednesday.
