Chinese sleeper cells were being prepared thereby operating a pub named Tiangshang Rangian in a building located in the Gharbra area of Greater Noida. Police raided on Tuesday night after coming to know about this pub in Sitamarhi, Bihar, during the interrogation of Chinese spy Sufi, which was sheltering two Chinese nationals caught on the Indo-Nepal border.
About 20 foreign youths and 12 foreign girls fled from there before the police arrived. Three girls from Assam and Manipur have been detained by the police from the spot, who work as a cook in the guest house. During their interrogation, it has come to know that many Chinese nationals used to come and stay here, who used to prepare sleeper cells for themselves at the local level.
Both the Chinese nationals caught on the border also stayed in this pub for several days. This has been exposed by extracting the location of Indian SIM used by Chinese citizens. During the raid on the building, the police found a pub running on one floor. The restaurant was running on one floor. About 50 rooms have been made in the building in which foreign nationals used to stay. Surprisingly, this building was rented out as the guest house of Vivo company, which makes mobile phones, so that no one has any doubts.
Chinese spy gave information
Su Fi, a Chinese national who was found sheltering two Chinese nationals caught on the border in Greater Noida and caught on suspicion of espionage, told the police on Tuesday night about the base of Chinese nationals, from where to prepare forged documents, indulge in financial fraud. And a racket for preparing sleeper cells was being operated.
He has told that this entire building is rented by his friend Ravi Kumar Natwarlal in the name of the guest house of Vivo company. The work of the caretaker of the building was being looked after by a person named Ashok. All these people escaped from the spot during the police raid.
The complicity of the Excise Department came to the fore
Sources have claimed that the pub was being operated illegally with the connivance of the Excise Department. People coming here were given expensive liquor and other intoxicants. Foreign girls were kept for this.
Many types of machines and laptops were used
During the interrogation of the young women apprehended from the spot, the police have come to know that the pub visitors often used many different types of machines and always carried laptops with them. It is suspected that they used to collect important data about the country.
