Speaking to the media after the protest, Sonia Gandhi said, "It is the government's responsibility to do something because children are dying. Even elderly people like me are facing difficulties." Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also joined the protest. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that the issue of air pollution is not political and they are demanding discussion and concrete action on the issue. She said, "Air pollution is not a political issue. The government should take concrete action; we are all together in this." People are suffering."
