The player auction for the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will take place on December 19. This is the first time that the auction is going to be held outside India. A total of 333 players will try their luck in the auction. A total of 77 slots are vacant including 10 teams. There will be many big names in the teams' hit list, especially Australia's top three players - Travis Head, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins. Apart from this, all eyes will also be on young talents Rachin Ravindra and Azmatullah Omarzai. Both of them had performed brilliantly in the recently held ODI World Cup 2023.
