Kapil Sharma: Kapil Sharma regrets not being able to work in 'Chamkila', said - I cried a lot

The Great Indian Kapil Show is airing on Netflix these days. In the recent episode, Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra, and Imtiaz Ali came to promote their film 'Amar Singh Chamkila'. In this video, Kapil revealed that AR Rahman had called him for the film Chamkila, but could not talk to him because he was abroad.

 

In this video clip, Kapil recalled the incident and said, "One day I met Rahman sir and he said that I had called you for Chamkila." The comedian further said that I think he wanted me to Should I do something for a song or a film? I thought he was just talking sweetly to me.

 

Kapil further said, "He did not say this to me in a serious manner, so I told him that sir, we were abroad and that is why we could not talk to each other." Kapil further said that this was unfortunate. After this, I cried all night.” Hearing these words of Kapil, everyone present there burst out laughing. In this conversation, Imtiaz further told him that if Diljit did not do this film, then we had only one option which was you.

 

Talking about Amar Singh Chamkila, the film was recently released directly on the OTT platform Netflix. The acting of Diljit and Parineeti in the film is being highly praised. Apart from the audience, critics have also liked this film a lot.
