New Delhi, Feb 5 (IANS) There was light fog in the morning here Thursday, delaying 24 trains. The Met Office has forecast the sky will be cloudy in the day.
The visibility in the morning was 500 metres which affected the arrival of 24 trains to the city and forcing cancellation of one train, the Northern Railway said.
"There was moderate fog early morning. The sky will become partly cloudy afternoon onwards," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 9.6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 20 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 20.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was three notches above the season's average at 11.3 degrees Celsius.
