Cooks and short-term instructors working in primary schools of Uttar Pradesh have got the gift of an increase in honorarium in the new year. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced to increase the honorarium of part-time instructors working in primary schools by Rs 2000 and cooks by Rs 500 per month. Now the instructors will get an honorarium of Rs 9000 and the cook's Rs 2000. Four lakh cooks and part-time instructors will get the benefit from this.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a dialogue function at the Atal Convention Center on Wednesday that the cooks would be given the benefit of two saris and a health insurance scheme of Rs 5 lakh in a year. Apart from this, aprons and head caps will also be provided to them. Accounts will be opened in the cooks' bank and money for sarees etc. will be sent in the same. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that during the critical period of the Corona epidemic, the governments of other states have cut the salaries and honorarium of the employees in a big way, while in Uttar Pradesh the honorarium is being increased keeping everyone's services safe.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that before the year 2017, 75 girls and 40 percent of boys used to come barefoot to school without a uniform. Now the government is giving them two uniforms, school bags, shoe-stockings, and sweaters in a year. Since this year, an amount of Rs 1100 has been sent to the bank accounts of parents of one crore 82 lakh students.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before the year 2017, the number of students in primary schools was decreasing rapidly, the number of students was increased by running a campaign. More than 54 lakh students have been enrolled in schools. Out of one lakh 56 thousand schools in the state, facilities have been increased by getting one lakh 30 thousand schools painted under Operation Kayakalp.
