Copa del Rey: Real Madrid won the Copa del Rey title after nine years, defeating Osasuna; Rodrigo scored two goals

With the help of two goals from young forward Rodrigo, Real Madrid defeated Osasuna 2-1 in the final match to win the title of the Spanish football tournament Copa del. Real Madrid has won this title trophy after nine years. The last time the club won this title was in 2014. Rodrigo of Brazil scored both goals for Real.

 

Osasuna lost in the final for the second time

Osasuna was playing the final match of the Copa del Rey for the second time. Earlier in 2015, Osasuna lost the final match of this tournament. A large number of Osasuna fans came to watch the match but Real spoiled their party.

 

 

The goal in the 106th second

Rodrigo opened Real's account early in the match and scored in the 106th second. His goal was assisted by Vinicius Junior. After 17 years, it is the fastest goal in the final of the Spanish Cup. Real led 1-0 in the first half.

 

Osasuna surprised

Osasuna opened the scoring in the second half. Lucas Toro surprised everyone by scoring from inside the box in the 58th minute. At one point, it seemed that Osasuna might not reverse, but Real did not let that happen. Rodrigo scored his second goal in the 70th minute to give the team a strong 2–1 lead, which they held until the end.
