According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI in Anand Vihar is 448, which is in the 'severe' category. Apart from this, 421 cases have been recorded in Jahangirpuri, 435 in Dwarka Sector-8, and 421 around IGI Airport (T3). AQI in Noida Sector-116 is 426 and in Noida Sector 62 is 428.

 

At the same time, Delhi's Air Quality Index (AQI) reached close to 500 on Friday, which was recorded at 468 in the evening. This is the highest AQI of this season, which is in the severe category. At the same time, compared to Thursday, an increase of 66 points was recorded in the air index.

 

AQI reaches dangerous category in Okhla Phase-2

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), severe category air was recorded in all areas in Delhi on Friday. In this, the highest air index was recorded at 499 in Okhla Phase-2, 498 in RK Puram, and 498 in Shri Fort. Also, AQI was close to 501 in many areas including 495 in Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, 493 in Dwarka Sector-8, 493 in IGI Airport, 492 in Dilshad Garden, 491 in Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, which is in the dangerous category. Is. At the same time, the air index was recorded in the severe category in 33 areas including 488 in New Moti Bagh, 486 in Mundka, 477 in Pusa, 484 in Punjabi Bagh, 489 in Wazirpur.

 

Wind may reach a dangerous category by Sunday

According to the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), on Friday the winds blew from north-west to north-east direction. During this period the wind speed was between four to six kilometers per hour, which is a very low speed. On Saturday, winds are expected to blow from south-east and east direction. During this period the wind speed will be four to six kilometers per hour. In such a situation, the air is expected to reach a dangerous category. At the same time, there is a possibility of fog along with fog in the morning. At the same time, on Sunday the winds will blow from north and east direction. The wind speed is estimated to be six kilometers per hour. According to Safar India, the amount of PM 2.5 in Delhi was recorded at around 354 on Wednesday, which is in the dangerous category. At the same time, the quantity of PM 10 was recorded at around 552, which is a dangerous level.
