According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health, three crore 50 lakh 64 thousand 536 vaccine doses have been given through 5 lakh 86 thousand 855 sessions till 7 am on Wednesday.
More than 21 lakh vaccine doses were given till March 16, the 60th day of the vaccination campaign. A total of 21 lakh 17 thousand 104 vaccine doses were given on Tuesday. Out of these, 17 lakh 82 thousand 553 beneficiaries were given the first dose and three lakh 34 thousand 551 health care and second-line workers were given the second dose of vaccine.
Who has got a dose so far?
So far 75 lakh 6 thousand 155 health care and 76 lakh 30 frontline workers have been given the first dose. At the same time, 45 crore 54 lakh 855 health care and 16 lakh 47 thousand 644 frontline workers have been given the second dose. Apart from this, there are 21 lakh 66 thousand 408 beneficiaries suffering from serious illness more than 45 years, and the first dose of Corona vaccine has been given to one crore 15 lakh 89 thousand 444 beneficiaries over 60 years.
