Rescue work will start when it reaches 206 meters

Preet Vihar SDM Sandeep Yadav, the nodal officer from the Revenue Department for flood control, said that relief and rescue operations will start when the water level of the Yamuna reaches 206 meters. 40 boats and a team of divers are ready at the Delhi Boat Club. People in low-lying areas like Yamuna Bazaar, ITO, and Kashmiri Gate have been advised to remain alert. Taking lessons from last year's floods, the administration has mobilized rescue teams and relief material.
