The decline in corona cases in the country
There is a steady decline in the corona cases of the country. 2.34 lakh new cases were found on Saturday and 2.35 lakh on Friday. During the third wave, on January 20, a maximum number of 3.47 lakh new cases were found. The special thing is that the number of new infected is seen decreasing in all the major cities of the country including Delhi, Mumbai.
For the first time in the country after the third wave, there has been a decline in the weekly corona case. Between January 24 and 30, 17.5 lakh cases were registered, which is 19% less than the previous week. However, during the same period, there has been an increase of 41% in the case of total deaths. This week the country's positivity rate stood at 15.68%, while last week it was 17.28%.

2. Karnataka: Positivity rate down by 3%
On Sunday, 28,264 new cases were found in Karnataka, while 29,244 people defeated Corona. During this 68 people died. A day before this, 33,337 new cases were found on Saturday and 70 people died. At present, the number of patients undergoing treatment here is 2.51 lakh, while the positivity rate is 16.39%, which was 19.37% a day ago.
3. Maharashtra: Decrease of more than 5 thousand in new cases
In Maharashtra, 22,444 new cases of the corona were found in the last 24 hours. During this 50 people died and 39,015 patients were cured. A day before this, 27,971 new cases were found and 61 people died. Now the total active cases in the state have come down to 2.27 lakh.
So far, a total of 77.05 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 73.31 lakh people have been cured, while 1.42 lakh people died. The positivity rate is 13.28%, up from 16.47% on Saturday the day before.
4. Tamil Nadu: Positivity rate down to 16.24%
22,238 new cases were reported here on Sunday. 26,624 people were cured and 38 people died. Earlier on Saturday, 24,418 new cases were reported and 46 people died. So far, a total of 33.25 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 30.84 lakh people have been cured, while 37,544 people have died. Here the active case is 2.03 lakh and the positivity rate is 16.24%.
5. Andhra Pradesh: Positivity rate reduced by 2% In Andhra, 10,310 new cases were reported here in the last 24 hours, while 9,692 people were cured and 12 people died. Earlier, 11,573 new cases were reported and 3 people died. So far 22.70 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 21.39 lakh people have been cured, while 14,606 people have died. Active cases are 1.16 lakh. The positivity rate has come down from 28.68% to 26.24%.

2. Gujarat: 11.53 lakh people infected with the virus so far
9395 new cases were found in Gujarat on Sunday. In the state, 16,066 people defeated Corona, while 30 people died. A day before this, on Saturday, 11,794 new cases were found and 33 people died. 3. Madhya Pradesh: Slight Decline In Positivity Rate

So far, more than 9.59 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. 4. Uttar Pradesh: Infection rate reduced to 3.99%
There were 8,079 new corona cases in the last 24 hours. 12,080 people were cured and 26 people died. Earlier on Saturday, 8,273 new corona cases came and 25 people died. So far 20.13 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 19.34 lakh people have been cured, while 23,190 people died. 55,574 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the state. The positivity rate in the state is 3.99%.
5. Odisha: 19 people died in 24 hours
4,843 new cases were registered in Odisha in the last 24 hours. During this 9,191 people were cured and 19 people died. A day before this, 4,842 new cases were registered and 15 people died. So far 12.45 lakh people of the state have come under the grip of infection. At the same time, the death toll has reached 8,594. The total number of active patients in the state is 43,899. The positivity rate is 7.70%.

On Saturday, 3,674 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and 30 people died. 6,954 people were cured. A day before this, 4,483 new corona cases were reported on Saturday and 28 people died. So far, more than 18.27 lakh people have come under the grip of infection in the state. Of these, 17.80 lakh have been cured while 25,827 have died. The positivity rate in Delhi was 30% on January 15, which has come down continuously to 6.37% on Sunday.
