Devara Trailer: Censorship on questions, rude security personnel, influencers in the front seats at the trailer launch of Devara

These days, a special style is seen everywhere in the trailer release programs of films in Mumbai and that is to call film journalists, editors, etc., and not give them a chance to ask questions. At the trailer release of Junior NTR's film 'Devara Part One', its makers went two steps further. They did not give the press a place in the front seats. Social media influencers gathered from all over the country got a place there. The hired people who whistle and clap at every word of the actors sat on the back seats and film journalists were seen sandwiched between them. And, in this program, the state of misbehavior in the name of security was such that even the hotel management had to apologize for it.

Janhvi disappeared after showing a glimpse.

Here, the Taj Lands End Hotel, built at the last end of the earth in Bandra, was in focus on Tuesday evening due to the trailer release of the next film 'Devara Part One', which is going to be released on an all India level after Junior NTR's 'R'. The heroine of the film Janhvi Kapoor left after showing her a glimpse as soon as the program started, she was told that she had to go to Rajasthan for the shooting of her film with Varun Dhawan. It is clear that no consideration was given to her convenience while deciding the date and time of the program and after watching the trailer of the film, it seems that Janhvi will also be just appearing in the film. It was also discussed that after watching the trailer, Janhvi expressed her desire not to stay in this program.

Influencers occupied the front seats.

Well, what was seen here regarding the status of the journalists and social media influencers called from all over the country for the trailer which everyone kept discussing till late at night, was the seating arrangement here. Usually, in the programs of the entertainment world in Mumbai, one or two rows in the front are reserved for the stars, filmmakers, distributors, their families, relatives, and friends. After that, the people of traditional media and social media covering the program keep sitting on the basis of first come first serve. But, here everyone was tied with a band of a particular color and everyone was made to sit in separate 'enclosures'.

'Censorship' on journalists' questions

Social media influencers from across the country sat on the chairs closest to the stage. It was told that this was done on the special 'instructions' of the filmmakers. People working for various newspapers, channels, and news websites in Mumbai sat on the other side of the rope after the first four rows and no one took the trouble of bringing a mike to them to ask questions. Nitin Kakkar, who was anchoring the program, asked the same questions from the journalists which the filmmakers okayed after 'censoring' them. The anchor of the program asked questions from Bharti Dubey of E Times, Anshu Mishra of Filmi Beat, Simran Sethi of ANI, and Amar of Maamraji to the artists and the people sitting on the stage. Junior NTR also got suspicious about this, and when the question was pointed toward him, he also called out the name of the person from whose side the question was.

Hotel management apologized

During this event which was held in a chaotic state, many people complained about the misbehavior of the security personnel. The hotel management was also troubled by the ever-changing instructions of the security personnel standing in various places in the guise of bouncers. The security personnel had not blocked the way to the event from the direction in which the reception staff kept sending the people coming to the hotel. When there was an uproar over this, the hotel management said that it was unaware of these repeatedly changing instructions and also apologized for the inconvenience caused to the visitors. After the event was over, the security personnel suddenly closed the open doors to exit on their own. There was also an argument between the people and the security personnel over this.
