Weather Update: Relief from the fog in these states including Delhi, cold wave continues in eastern UP and Bihar

According to the latest forecast released by the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of getting relief from the cold in some states including Delhi. IMD scientists say that fog conditions have improved in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and western Uttar Pradesh due to the active Western Disturbance. However, dense fog is being observed over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of the formation of cyclonic circulation due to Western Disturbance, due to which good rains are expected in the Western Himalayan region. There is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, and adjoining areas. There may be snow with rain in Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. There is no hope of respite from fog and cold waves in Bihar at present.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the people of Bihar are not expected to get relief from the severe cold at present. Fog and severe cold have affected normal life in Bihar. Traffic has been severely affected due to the dense fog. Many trains are running late from their scheduled time, on the other hand, traffic on the road has also been affected.
