After protests against the zero-covid policy in China, the government relaxed and removed the lockdown, but now the situation seems to be getting worse here. There has been an influx of corona-infected patients in the hospitals. Not only this, but the medical staff is also getting infected. Some doctors are treating patients despite being corona positive.

Meanwhile, the Chinese government, which implemented strict corona rules for 2 years, has taken a U-turn. Now officials say that the Omicron variant of Corona is not dangerous. Even the government is asking people about self-care. That is, the government says that there is no need to be afraid of Corona. Infection can be avoided if people take care of themselves.

Infected medical staff is treating

Doctors are bearing the brunt of the government's decision to lift the lockdown. There is a line of corona-infected patients in the hospitals. Many doctors treating them have been infected. A medical staff shared a post on social media. Told it that despite being infected, they are being made to work.

What is happening in China...

On the one hand, Sun Chunlan, the only woman with the highest ranking in the CCP and the head of a committee to fight Corona in China, says that the Omicron variant of Corona has weakened in the country. There is no danger from this now. On the other hand, the cases of corona are increasing.

Issuing an advisory, the government is saying that the risk of the corona is negligible. Even if someone gets corona, they can stay in isolation at home. Despite being positive, they will not show any symptoms of the corona. That's why there is no need to be afraid.

Despite the government's rhetoric and advisory that the threat is low, cases of corona infection are increasing in China. Every day more than 30 thousand people are calling on the local medical emergency helpline seeking help. The situation is worse in Sichuan province. Every day 700-800 patients are coming here with the problem of fever.

Health experts say that due to the relaxation of corona restrictions, a jump in cases is being seen. Doctors and medical staff are getting ill in many places. Some are even getting infected. Medicines have run out in many hospitals.

Meanwhile, World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom has asked China to share data regarding the coronavirus. WHO said in a statement – Data has been sought from China to better understand the corona and for information related to its origin. The first case of the corona was reported in Wuhan, China.
