Amid the Mahakumbh of faith in Uttarakhand, now the Kumbh of Corona has also started. Within a month, there has been an increase of 8814% in the rate of visits of corona patients in the state. To understand this growth rate, first, take an analysis of some data. From February 14 to February 28, only 172 people were found infected in Uttarakhand. Now, look at the figure between 1 to 15 April. In these 15 days, 15,333 people were hit by Corona. Now take the growth rate between 14 February and 14 April, then it comes to 8814%.

You can also get an idea of the worsening situation by the number of patients who get here every day. Until February, only 30 to 60 people were found corona infected every day here. Now, this number has increased from 2,000 to 2,500. If the data is analyzed, it seems that this is just the beginning. Conditions may become even more frightening in the coming days.

In Haridwar Kumbh, the effect of crowds has also started showing. Here also 30 saints have been found infected with corona. This is the official figure, but the number of infected monks may be much higher. Health officials say that RT-PCR tests of sadhus are being done in different akharas. Testing will be extended from April 17.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Mahamandaleshwar Kapil Devdas (65) of the All India Shri Panch Nirvani Akhara died. Mahamandaleshwar Covid was found infected in the investigation. He had trouble breathing. Questions were also being raised about the continuation of the Kumbh Mela in the country amid the fast-growing cases of Corona. On Thursday, 2 lakh new cases of the corona were reported in the country. This is the largest single-day figure since the epidemic began. On the other hand, there is a crowd of millions in Kumbh. 14 lakh people attended Wednesday's royal bath.

The police force's withdrawal begins

The crowd has started to decrease since Kumbh. Due to this, the withdrawal of the force deployed in Haridwar from different districts has also started. In a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, DGP Ashok Kumar said that the main bath of Kumbh has ended on Wednesday. For this reason, the force is no longer needed here.
