There has been a ruckus in Pakistan after the arrest of Imran Khan. Imran's supporters are protesting violently on the streets. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was arrested outside the Islamabad High Court. Regarding this, PTI Vice President Fawad Chaudhary said on Wednesday that the party would approach the Supreme Court today to challenge the Islamabad High Court's decision to uphold the arrest of party president Imran Khan.

 

Fawad Chaudhary termed the decision of the Islamabad High Court as surprising. He tweeted that it is surprising that the Islamabad High Court has termed Imran Khan's arrest as legal. He called the arrest of Imran Khan illegal. PTI chief Imran was arrested outside the IHC by Rangers on a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) warrant in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Internet service closed in Pakistan

Social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube were banned in various areas of Pakistan on Tuesday because of protests against the arrest of Imran Khan. According to the news agency, apart from this, mobile data services have also been suspended in major cities of Pakistan. According to reports, private schools in Pakistan will remain closed on Wednesday (May 10). A video of Imran Khan's arrest went viral on social media, in which Pakistani rangers are seen dragging him away.
