The cases of Corona in the country have registered an increase for the second consecutive day. In the last 24 hours, 1,938 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported. During this, 67 people have also died. The Health Ministry has issued an update on the status of Corona on Thursday. There were 1,778 cases of corona in the country yesterday i.e. on Wednesday, while a total of 1,581 patients were found on Tuesday.

It is a matter of relief that the active cases of corona are continuously decreasing. In the last 24 hours, 2,531 people of Corona have been cured. With this, the active cases have now come down to 22,427. There were 23,087 active cases of corona on Wednesday. A total of 4,24,75,588 people have been cured of corona so far while 5,16,672 people have lost their lives.

Earlier, the central government on Wednesday announced the end of all Covid restrictions from March 31. However, it will be necessary to wear a face mask for now. After two years, the government has ended the Covid restrictions. Union Health Secretary Rajesh has written a letter to the states. He said that the guidelines of the Ministry of Health regarding monitoring and prevention of corona will remain in force. At the same time, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla said that now there is no need to implement the provisions of the Disaster Act. No further order will be issued in this regard by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Vaccination figure crossed 182 crores
The number of Covid vaccinations in the country has crossed 182 crores. About 182.14 crore doses of vaccine have been administered. The first dose of the vaccine has been given to 97.74 crore people while more than 82 crore second doses have been given. Along with this, more than 2.08 crore precaution doses have also been done.
