
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the country's first National Training Conclave. Representatives of civil services training institutes from across the country participated in the inaugural program at the training conclave at International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan.
More than 1500 delegates participated in the conclave
An official said that the capacity building department had organized the program to promote cooperation among civil services training institutes. Also, the objective of the conclave was to strengthen the training infrastructure of civil servants. More than 1500 delegates from other training institutes including Central Training Institutes, State Administrative Training Institutes, Regional Training Institutes, and Research Institutes participated in the Conclave. Apart from this, officers of the Central Government, State Government also participated. Many private sector experts also participated in the conclave.
A comprehensive strategy will be prepared
The official told that many ideas will be exchanged in the conclave, and challenges will also be discussed. A comprehensive strategy will be prepared to explore new opportunities and build capacity. There were eight-panel discussions in the conclave. The problems faced by the training institutes were also explained here.

Meanwhile, an official statement said that Prime Minister Modi has been an advocate of reforming the governance process and policy implementation in the country through capacity building of the civil service. In this connection, the National Civil Services Capacity Building Program (NPCSCB) 'Mission Karmayogi' was also launched.
