Akashdeep: Akash Deep achieved success with his brilliant bowling, joining the elite list of Bumrah, Siraj, and Zaheer

Indian team's fast bowler Akash Deep performed brilliantly in the second Test match against England. Akash impressed in the second innings after the first innings and led India to victory by giving continuous shocks to England. India declared their second innings at 427 for six and set a target of 608 runs in front of the host team, taking a big lead of 607 runs.

 

Akash maintained the rhythm.

 

Akash Deep gave two shocks to England on the fourth day of the match. Akash Deep bowled Ben Duckett, who returned to the pavilion after scoring 25 runs. Akash then bowled Joe Root, who was dismissed after scoring six runs. Akash continued this rhythm on the fifth day as well and took two wickets in the first session. Akash Deep performed brilliantly and bowled Ollie Pope, giving England the fourth blow. Then Akash dismissed Harry Brook LBW. In this way, Akash took four wickets in this innings as well.

 

The fifth day of the second Test match between India and England started late due to rain, but Akash troubled England with his brilliant bowling. Based on his brilliant performance, Akash has joined the elite list of Indian bowlers like Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, and Zaheer Khan who have taken four wickets in both innings of a Test match in England. Before Akash, Chetan Sharma, Zaheer Khan, Jaspreet Bumrah, and Mohammad Siraj have done this feat.

India gave three blows to England in the first session and moved towards victory. The fifth day's play started late due to rain, but Akash Deep gave two blows to England in the beginning. After this, Ben Stokes, along with Jamie Smith, took charge of the innings and shared a 70-run partnership for the sixth wicket. This partnership was broken by Washington Sundar by dismissing Stokes.

 

England started the fifth day at 72 for three, but Akash Deep bowled brilliantly and took the wickets of Ollie Pope (24) and Harry Brook (23). England lost five wickets at a score of 83 runs, but then Stokes took charge along with Smith. Just before the end of the first session, Washington gave India another success by sending Stokes to the pavilion.
