Coronavirus Updates: Corona cases reduced again in the country, 937 new cases came in 24 hours; Active patients also decreased

There has been a decrease in the cases of corona infection in the country. The Health Ministry said that 937 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the last 24 hours. According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, the number of cases of Kovid-19 in India stood at 937 in a day. The total cases of corona have increased to 4,46,61,516. At the same time, the active cases came down to 14,515.

 

The death toll in Kerala has risen to 5,30,509 with nine more deaths, including seven deaths, said the figures updated at 8 am.

 

324 drop in active cases in 24 hours

There has been a decline of 324 active cases in 24 hours. Now it is 0.03 percent of the total infections. According to the ministry's website, the national COVID-19 recovery rate has risen to 98.78 percent.

 

The number of people cured of the disease rose to 4,41,16,492, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.19 percent.

 

More than 219.73 crore vaccines received

According to the ministry's website, 219.73 crore doses of the Kovid vaccine have been given in the country so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign.

 

India's COVID-19 tally crossed 20 lakh on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5, and 50 lakh on September 16. It crossed 60 lakhs on 28th September, and 70 lakhs on 11th October. 80 lakh on 29 October, 90 lakh on 20 November, and crossed the one crore mark on 19 December.
