Covid-19: Corona active patients cross 1.35 lakh, more than 16 thousand cases in last 24 hours, 41 deaths

The number of active corona patients in the country remains above one lakh, which is a matter of concern. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday (August 8), the number of active patients in the country has increased to 1,35,510, which is 577 more than yesterday. At the same time, 16,167 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and 15,549 people have also recovered. During this, 41 patients also lost their lives. A total of 5,26,730 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic.

 

Corona infection rate in Delhi is close to 15 percent

 

The rate of corona infection in Delhi has reached close to 14.97 percent, which is the highest in the last six months. At the same time, new cases of corona are also the highest in the last six months. Earlier on January 22, there was an infection rate of 16.36 percent. There are 8,045 active corona patients in Delhi till August 7. At the same time, 2423 new cases were registered during the last 24 hours.

 

1812 new cases in Maharashtra

 

During the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 1,812 cases were registered and one person died. The total death toll in the state now stands at 1,48,139. There are now 12,011 total active cases left in Maharashtra.
