Covid-19 in India: So far 39 foreign travelers have been found corona positive in India, rapid testing is being done at all airports

Corona cases are continuously increasing in many countries including China. In such a situation, the Government of India is also cautious about this. As a precautionary measure, rapid testing of passengers coming from abroad has been started at all airports in India. Corona-positive cases are also being found during rapid testing.

 

39 international passengers found corona positive

According to a report, since December 24, passengers of 498 international flights have been tested. During this, 1,780 samples have been collected. Out of these 39 passengers have been found corona positive. Now all these samples have been sent for genome sequencing.

 

4 passengers were found infected at Bangalore airport

Let us inform you that yesterday i.e. on Tuesday, four foreign passengers were found corona positive at Kempegowda Airport in Bengaluru, Karnataka. After the report of the passengers came positive, they have been quarantined.

 

5 foreign pilgrims Covid positive in Bodh Gaya

At the same time, before this, the report of 5 devotees in Bodh Gaya, Bihar had come corona positive. 33 foreigners were tested for Covid at the airport. Five of these people were found to be corona infected, while the report of the remaining 28 was negative.

 

Mock drill in all hospitals across the country

The mock drill was done in all the hospitals across the country on Tuesday for the preparation to deal with Corona. On the advice of PM Modi, mock drills were organized in various hospitals across the country. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that a mock drill will help us to know at what level what is lacking and we will rectify them in time. Mandaviya also visited Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

 

157 new cases of Coronavirus in India

A total of 157 cases of the corona were registered in the country on Tuesday. At the same time, active cases have come down to 3,421. The active cases a day earlier were 3,428. With this, the daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.32 percent while the weekly positivity rate was 0.18 percent. Active cases now account for 0.01 percent of the total infections.
