Corona: A new sub-form of Omicron found in ten states, Insacog said - monitoring of changes in the virus

A new sub-form that increases corona infection again in the UK and America has also appeared in some states of the country. On Friday, Insacco reported that BA 2.5 has been identified in some states of the country, which is a sub-form of Omicron. It has many mutations in its spike protein structure, due to which it can reduce antibody levels. Although like Delta it can be effective or not? At the moment there is no information about it.

 

Insacog said, through genome sequencing, his team is monitoring the changes in the coronavirus in India. There has been no change in the admission rate of infected patients in the hospitals of the country even after getting the BA 2.5 sub-form. Experts believe that this is relief news for the present time. Insacog's network has 54 laboratories in the country, where genome sequencing is being done by taking samples of corona-infected patients.

Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

At the same time, the number of patients under treatment decreased to 1,35,364. According to a statement issued by the Union Health Ministry on Friday, after 70 more people died of coronavirus in the country on the previous day, the death toll increased to 5,26,600. The number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19 in the country has come down to 1,35,364, which is 0.31 percent of the total cases.
