T20 World Cup: 'He has seen difficult times, I want him in the World Cup...' Harbhajan supports Hardik

Former Indian veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh has supported Hardik Pandya. He has said that the last two months have been very difficult for Hardik. Now he should leave this bad time behind with his effective performance in the upcoming T20 World Cup. Mumbai Indians' performance in the IPL under Hardik's captaincy was very disappointing. The team was at the bottom of the table in 10th position. Hardik himself failed to make an impact with the ball and bat.

Not only this, but Hardik was also booed fiercely. However, Harbhajan hopes that things will change during the upcoming T20 World Cup. Bhajji said, 'When he wears the Indian team jersey, he will be a different Hardik Pandya. He is one of the most important players in India. He can score runs as well as take wickets. I want Hardik to perform well because he has suffered a lot. I wish him all the best for a good tournament.

Bhajji said - If Hardik manages to perform well, then obviously India will have a great chance to move forward in the tournament. His form has been a bit of a concern. However, we also have to see that a lot of things were going on in his mind. His leaving the Gujarat Titans and coming to Mumbai was a big change.

Hardik had to face opposition from the audience because the captain of Mumbai was changed. The franchise handed over the captaincy to him in place of Rohit Sharma. Bhajji also appealed to bring Rohit and Hardik together. He said that during the IPL, it seemed that they were not playing unitedly. I believe that apart from these two, the players representing other teams in the IPL will have to play unitedly for the country.

Harbhajan said that winning the World Cup is a bigger achievement than winning the IPL trophy. Therefore, I would urge the management to bring everyone together and ensure their unity so that they can play as a team. I believe that it is the responsibility of the management to come together and win together. Even if they lose, they should lose together.

Harbhajan said that during the World Cup, experienced Jasprit Bumrah will also need support from the other end. He said- Bumrah will have a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, but I hope that other fast bowlers will also take the responsibility of becoming something special. Apart from Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammad Siraj will be the other two fast bowlers in Team India.
